Meet Lisa Schmidt
Since joining the Michigan State Bar in 2010, Lisa Schmidt’s primary focus has been on families. She opened and managed her own law firm from 2011 to 2019. Throughout that time, divorce, custody, and other family law matters were her primary focus. Lisa is an active member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Family Law, Appellate Practice, and LGBTQIA Sections. She has been named a SuperLawyers Rising Star from 2016 to 2021. She is the co-author of the chapter in the ICLE Family Law treatise of Revocation Paternity.
